Thousands of years all swept away
The God of Hate seizes the day
Until a mortal draws His eye
A writer who will help him spy
Then He spies her in full bouquet
The mortal’s love was on display
Beautiful words, to her, he’d say
The God could not help but reply
Thousands of years all swept away
He craved the love He’d felt that day
And blessed them both in grand array
They prove that there’s still hope on high
A truth the God cannot deny
Twas then He felt His heart to sway
Thousands of years all swept away
